This site was created for Past, Present, and Future missionaries called to the South Africa Cape Town Mission, as well as anyone wanting to know more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in South Africa. For returned missionaries, this is a way to stay in touch with each other via e-mail, reunions, snail-mail, etc. Also, if you've received a call to this great mission, you may find the information on these pages useful as you prepare to enter the mission field. This is a hobby of Nannette Watts and her husband Barry. Others are invited to participate and contribute as they can. The information presented in this page does not represent the official views of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We appreciate the efforts of Bryan Cardoza, who hosts the South Africa Johannesburg Mission alumni page, and carried a page for the Cape Town Mission until we could take it over. He also runs the Alumni Directory for Missions in Southern Africa. For more information about the Church, please see the Deseret News LDS Info Page, refer to the Church's official World Wide Web site, talk to one of your Mormon friends, or look under The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the telephone directory. You may obtain a free Book of Mormon by calling 1-800-528-2225 or contact the local congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If you're curious but don't want any direct contact with the Church, just e-mail me your postal mailing address and I'll send you a free copy, in a plain wrapper and will NOT contact you or keep your name in any file. This site is listed with Mission.Net, an index of similar pages dedicated to each of the hundreds of Missions throughout the world. They might list a page for a mission close to you. Go take a look! |
